Window Desk Fan

My computer was not quite soaked, I closed it before the rain blew through an open window onto my desk. Still, it was underneath my computer on the surface of the desk, and somehow blew into the space between my keyboard and screen... which I know can be fatal for most computers. I took out the battery and leaned it up tent-style overnight with a fan blowing on it at max speed, but it still gives me the flashing ? file. Any suggestions?
