When oxyacetylene welding, why use a green lens over a smoke lens?
I understand that when gas welding with a gas other than acetylene the puddle is easier to see with green, but which is best when doing "standard" gas welding and brazing?
In the number of years of welding for me, I have had many goggles and did not notice much of a difference between the two. So in my opinion (at least in my case) it made no difference.
