Evercoat Metal 2 Metal is this product any good ? Can it be used instead of cutting out the metal and welding?
I am working with cab corners on my pick up and need to get these cab corners fixed. I have no means of welding with the exception of a torch which could be used for brazzing.
i haven't used evercoat but i use SEM metal bond, it works great. its said that it cant be used near crush zones cause its to strong and will not give the same as a crush zone( im not sure about that though). most metal glues should be fine for what you are doing but you still need to cut the rust out. rust IS cancer and if not completely removed it will spread. hopefully you have enough good metal to where you can cut out the rust and glue the corner cap over the hole, prime and seal it good, if you do it right it will last
