we consider p as a dropping pressure, Q as a fluid flow, and P as a lost(capital P). then we have the following equation:

P=pQ (1)

first we change all the units to the SI units:

P=82hp=82x745.7Watt=61147.4Watt (2)
Q=290lit/s=.29m^3/s (3)

then from (1),(2), and (3) we have:

61147(Watt)=px.29(m^3/s) (4)
then

p=61147(Watt)/.29(m^3/s) =210853Pascal (5)

also we have the following pressure head formula:

p=Roxgxh (6)

where Ro is density, g is the gravity acceleration, and h is pressure head. then from (6) we have

210853(Pa)=1000(kg/m^3)x10xh (7)

and finally the pressure head lost(h) will be:

h=21.08 m (8)
