Why don't plasma TVs have an led light like LCDs do & why do plasmas get so warm?
I have a 32 inch 720 p LCD HDTV and I have notice that it is like these tiny people are inside of my TV and when ever the TV is on these bluish white lights always come on and then the words please wait....
appear on the screen and then after a couple of seconds the screen displays what ever channel I was watching last. And I was cleaning off the TV stand the 42 inch plasma TV is sitting on in the living room and I noticed there was no light coming from the back of it and I also saw that the TV was very warm.Why is this
In plasma, every "pixel" is its own light, while LCDs use a "backlight".
Yes, plasma consume more energy than LCds.
