lower the voltage of electric motor?
I have a 1/3 hp electric motor that the tag says spins at 1700 RPM. Changing pully sizes is not an option. What can I use to get it down to about 400-500 RPM? Is a light dimmer switch an option?
The only feasible options are changing the motor or changing the pulleys. The light dimmer is a poor idea.
