Allow dc block ac how?
How do I block ac and allow dc. It is square wave ac, about 6 volts. I have a few electrolytic caps, diodes, resistors, and inductors. Will that do? (schematic preferred)
Put an inductor in series with the load (resistance) - that will form a low-pass filter which will block high frequencies but admit low frequencies to the load. Inductors are also known as "chokes", for their ability to throttle high frequencies in radio circuits.
