I have a 1991 isuzu trooper. Is it at all possible to convert it to diesel?
I love my trooper so much. It works perfectly for me in every way. However I've been learning so much about running diesel vehicles on vegetable oil, and I'm completly convinced and set on doing it! However nobody can tell me if its possible to swap my gas v6 2.8 with some sort of diesel engine. Can someone tell me if this is even possible?? Thanks!
It's possible but you have to change so much over that you will be better off buying a complete replacement Trooper or a similar vehicle.
In addition, getting the donor parts may be a problem; not many diesel Troopers end up at wrecking yards as there's such a demand for the parts.
