how do you wire a dual single pole light switch?
the switch has two rocker style switches one above the other
Its very easy! Look on one side of a switch, you will see a brass clip jumping the 2 terminals and on the other side no clip jumping the terminals. Now there is 2 ways of wiring the switch:
1. If you have 1 circuit feeding the switch then attach your feed to the side with the clip, and your 2 switch legs to the oppisite side of the switch.
2. If you have 2 circuits feeding the switch then break off the clip and attach one feed to the top screw and your other feed below the that screw and on the other side of your switch attach your switch legs.
