Gfci Switchplate help please.?
So I went to Lowes and picked up a gfci switchplate. (the thing that goes on the outside of the outlet) It says single gfci/rocker. Does this mean it will ground the outlet? Thanks.
No it will not. That has to be done with the wiring. There is no cover that will provide a proper ground for any outlet that doesn't have one present. Email me if I can be of any more help.
