I recently purchased a Phillips DVD/VCR player, problem is I own a TV from 1996, can you help me out?
You see my TV does not have those white yellow and red things on it, it has a cable thing in the back and the problem is the phillips player does not have that cable thing on the back so its impossible to hook up my phillips player.
So I read in the instruction booklet that you need to purchase a set-top box, so in my searching I found this,

Will this work? currently my tv is hooked up with my VCR via cable wire. Also please don't suggest I hook up my DVD/VCR player with my VCR I wanted to do that but the instruction booklet advised me not to do it.
Can someone help me out here?
It will NOT WORK.....
Go to Radio Shack and ask for a <
You plug in the Video RCA cables between the VCR/DVD player, attach an RF cable from the box to the TV, Attach your antenna cable to the box (instruction manual will help you) , Plug it in, set your TV to Channel 3 and power up your DVD....Voila! Picture from your DVD.
Turn off your DVD and your antenna wire is automatically "reconnected" to watch your TV channels.
