I'm half way through a poem and would like feedback!?
Notice the motive of identity theft; an expired passport
and birth certificate generously left. It’s a shedding of skin,
a removal of sin: forget the past and what shouldn’t last –
life’s beautiful after all.
Congratulations for the breaking of association; obscure
yourself and conceal the frustration. Sculpt with idealism,
pick the mould – funded by a delusion of growing old.
A contradiction of fiction: your money’s been long spent, on the
alcohol and cigarettes not given up for lent.
Anything to thin the blood you’ve scratched fresh from your grazes– playing with your mind so any girl amazes.
Once perceived as a needle and thread, I was stitching up the holes in your heart and your head.
