Electrical outlet has no power. No fuses are busted; I have replaced the actual outlet but still no power tks?
Have 4 outlets in the kitchen; 2 have zero power in both receptacles. No blown fuses and I've replaced both with brand new outlets. Still no luck! Thanks in advance.
The problem isn't necessarily with the outlets that have no power. One of the other outlets that still work may be the culprit. All four are probably on the same line, daisy chained. If one of the outlets proceeding them has a loose wire, that would explain it.
They like to use the push connections in the back of the outlets, because its fast and easy. Problem is, after 6-8 years, the blades in the push connection fatigue. Whenever you wire outlets, my advice is to use the less convenient, but totally reliable screws. I would check the the two outlets that still work for loose wires.
