Should Senator Craig be brought up on Ethics charges??
Ya know, Im sitting here thinking about this mess Craig has found himself in - and I dont for a minute sympathize with the closetted hypocrite. However, Ive got a little problem with the way this is being handled by the Senators...
Many Senators and political groups (such as the Log Cabin Republicans, the largest group of gay Republicans - what a funny name!!) are calling for Craig to step down and for him to be brought up on ethics charges. However, a month or so ago, the DC Madam released phone records in which another Senator's phone number was located on - yet he wasnt asked to quit nor put up on ethics charges.
Is there a double standard in Washington? Sex scandals with heterosexuals is okay, but lets get the the homos out of Washington? WTF is up with that? Granted, Craig is a despicable, lying individual - but he is no worse a criminal than the Senator who was visiting prostitutes, is he?
I kinda agree, there is a double standard.
If Craig is having a little DL sex then let it go, the guy screams and yells about the evils of gays then gets caught looking for homosexual sex- please, who didn't see that coming.
Most people that scream and yell about the evils of homosexuals are in fact closet gays themselves.
I salute those that can come out and proclaim their inner being.
Craig needs to be left alone, and when he starts yelling again about the evils of homosexuals he needs to be called a hipocrite (cause he is).
