How much would it cost to COMPLETELY redo this room?
Ok, The room USED TO BE a two car garage, so now you can kinda guess how big it is.
Ok. Somewhere along the line... PROBABLY in the '60s, Someone changed it into a room with a fireplace and ALOT of booksheleves.
It has a drop ceiling, Dark Wood panelling, and old gross red carpet.
At some point in time, My mom wants to redo the whole room. How much do you think these things would cost?:
1. Fake wood floor, the kind that you glue down.
2. Sheetrock walls, primer, and semi-gloss paint.
3. Sheetrock ceiling.
4. Bricks on the fireplace that would reach the new ceiling (the drop ceiling makes the ceiling lower, a new one would be higher.)
5. A new ceiling fan.
It doesn't sound like much, but you gotta remember, ITS THE SIZE OF A TWO CAR GARAGE!!
