30 Minute Light Switch Timer for Domestic use. Where Can I buy a suitable device?
I looked on the Internet and Yahoo past Answer's with no luck. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
My kids leave the Landing lights on ALL day, and night too, given half a chance. It's a total irritating waste of money and power.
What I need is a timer to fit into a standard domestic lighting system (60 watt bulb load) to switch OFF the power some thirty minutes after it is switched on. (Similar to devices found in some blocks of flats).
The present circutry is the standard "Landing light" configuration of one SPST switch on the ground floor and another SPST on the landing. Nothing complicated!
I need something to hopefully fit intothe space behind the normal SPST switch one can buy over the counter. I don't want to fit anything standing proud of the walls as this could be a long term fingering/handling hazard.
Any suggestions gratefully recieved!
Not a 30min switch but a PIR switch so your kids won't even have to touch the switch to activate the light. It only stays on for 6 kins max, but I suppose that should be long enough.
