Basics of mig welding? setup?
Alright so i want to learn how to MIG weld. I can and am pretty good at stick welding. I know MIG welding is waaaay easier. I just need to know how to setup the gas/what all the settings should be on. I dont need to know about the wire feed which i already know. Thanks!
Turn the gas on, turn you amps to the right level, set your wire speed according to your chart related to the thickness of the metal. There are charts that go with the welder. Keep the nozzle close but not too close that you build up a bead on the feed and pull the trigger and go.
