It was 5:00 a.m and me and a friend were outside and we see a gigantic flash of blue light cover half the sky then stop. We get scared and run indoors and then we peek out and it happens again but in another area not to far.
The flash was huge, it towered over us and only lasted a about ten seconds. It was NOT lightning and i have no idea if it was a UFO or whatever, i don't believe in those things.
What are some logical causes for this wall of blue light? We alsp saw a golden star like thing appear over in the direction it stopped. We ran home after that.
This is NOT a freakin' flashlight. It was like ten stories high and very wide. On top of that, it was a clean night, not raining or windy or anything.
I was once driving in the Nevada Desert around 1am. It was overcast that night and the clouds kept on flashing. It went on for miles and miles. It seemed to follow me and I was getting very uneasy about the whole thing. Close to an hour of flashing overhead and maybe 40 or 45 miles of flashing. Really spooky. Then all was finally revealed to me. I pulled into a small town that had a high hill on one side. At the top of the hill was a radio tower with a bright flashing beacon on top--you know, the kind that lets airplanes know not to hit it? The moisture droplets in the clouds captured the flashing light like billions of prisms and reflected that flashing light through the clouds for miles and miles. Really big sigh of relief from me that night, but what you saw could easily have been something as simple as that for the explanation. Maybe you saw one of those rotating spotlights that car dealers use or even something as simple as a neighbor taking some flash pictures. Reflections are very odd sometimes.
