I do feel my baby move every now and then but not lot's that i think oh my god my baby's moving alot? This is my first and in two days i will be 23 weeks. When i went for my 5 month scan they said everything was fine but my baby wasn't moving lots when she first put the scan on me baby yawned but i missed most of it my mum and nurse saw it! so then nurse told me to go and have a walk round the hospital for 10 minutes because she couldn't get a view of the stomach. When we went back in the room after having a mars bar and jumping on the spot lol, she scanned me again and the baby hadn't hardly moved. Most of the scan baby was led face down right low down in my left side.Do you think every things ok with baby? do you think my baby is just lazy baby? Did you go throught this?
I'm confused about the tech saying that when you came back after 10 minutes that your baby hadn't hardly moved. How would she know that, it's not like they change positions constantly. They usually stay the same direction but just move their arms and legs. At this stage, you aren't going to feel every movement. They get stronger as the weeks go on. When I was 22/23 weeks I usually only felt my baby once a day, at this point I feel her a lot more frequently, but some days she is lazier than others. Yours could have been having a lazy day, or is just not as big of a mover as others.
