How to remove paint from wood?
I am trying to remove paint from a wooden porch. I've been heating it up with a heat gun and scraping at it but it is rather difficult and my hands aren't in the best shape. Are there any tricks to getting this done or power tools/attachments for the job?
You can use gel paint remover. Most hardware stores sell it.
It works great, you brush it on real thick, wait 20 minutes, then scrape off the lifted paint.
There's also an orange-scented version that is milder on the nose.
