Are the wires in my Walmart extension cord made of COPPER or ALUMINUM or ?
A small tag affixed to the wire near the plug states: "For use only where not subject to frequent flexing"?
* How much flexing is too much flexing?
* When did they start putting this message on extension cords?
* Would a cord from Lowe's or TrueValue be of better quality and reliability?
- Another small tag gives the UL certification: "UL 04/87 E184278"

It is illegal to make cords with ALUMINIUM because it is a poor conductor. Made in China you say! I won't purchase "JUNK" from that country!
