1989 toyota camry not getting constant power to fuel pump, only 2 seconds when cranking, what do i check?
pump is working fine when batt. charger is applied, new pump and filter. test light comes on only when cranking on engine and goes out after key is just in "on" pos. please help , you can call me on my cell if you wish 314-941-2468 tim thank you
I'de check the fuel pump relay.The ECM powers up the pump during cranking to presurize the system.It could be a bad ignition switch .Get a wiring diagram. Follow it from the pump to the power,just like a roadmap.
