What event or invention, in your own lifetime, has had the most impact on you?
During my life I have seen the Berlin Wall removed, it stopped being illegal to be gay in the UK, the personal computer was invented and the Internet came into use, as did the mobile phone.
For me, the invention of the digital camera has had an enormous impact, both in a positive and negative way.
So I'd like to know what has had an affect on you, and why.
