I'm turning 16 at the end of the month. I'm a virgin. I've been having a problem for the last month. If I pull apart my outer vagina lips and look with a mirror, all of my skin is red and raw. It hurts badly and burns. I can't stand to wear anything but dresses and skirts, because pants are painful now. It does NOT itch. A week ago I switched from body wash to dove soap, and it didn't help. I've used the same detergent my whole life with no problems. Does anyone have any suggestions? I live alone with my single dad, and I'd rather not explain why I need to go to the doctor. Thank you!
Go to a doctor. Just tell your dad it's girl stuff, he'll understand and won't ask anything. Most [older] dad's don't like hearing about their daughter's girl stuff.
