I remember reading this book about this guy and his friend that study celtic legends, and they go out to a mound somewhere in the country, and as they walk around it, one of them disappears. The first guy freaks out and thinks it can't be possible. And he goes to talk to this Celtic legend old man that knows everything about faeries and celtic stuff.
so both he and the old guy go out there and look around it and finally the man gets sucked in, and he's in the Celtic world and he sees his old friend and he's a celtic warrior.
oh and at the beginning of the book, a farmer finds this massive Celtic mythological beast in his farm... I cannot remember for the life of me what the name of this book is!! On the cover, it had a celtic knot that was really pretty. this is frustrating...
