For my economics project I have to create a product and shoot a commercial for it. My idea is a mini sun, like the one from spiderman 2. The sun is encased in a glass compartment. It follows you around and gives you light and warmth, and can convert its own solar energy into electricity so you can just plug it into the wall to provide electricity for your whole house. So is there any commercial ideas for it? Also, is there anyway for me to actually create a mini sun without having it look crappy?

For the commercial, maybe in the beginning have someone trying to go about their day in the dark with no light, heat, electricity, or warmth, and their miserable. Then when they're walking down a street have someone how has a mini-sun following them walk past them, and seeing how bright, cheery, and warm they are. (they could be talking on the cellphone and have a bright personality wearing light clothing like shorts and a tank top, while the other person without the light could be wearing dark coloured sweaters and jackets and look like their in a bad mood)
The the announcer could say like, "Don't be left in the dark, with mini-sun (or whatever you want to name the product to be, then describe what the product can do.)
To have the effect of a mini sun, if you don't have any experience with computer generated images, the best things would be maybe a round light attached to a string with a box around it, or colour a Styrofoam ball with yellows and anything bright?
