I want to select a cell from one tab and have it enter the value(number) from that cell into a specific cell in another tab. If I change my selection I want the same specific cell to change with my selection from the first tab.
I want to select a cell from one tab and have it enter the value(number) from that cell into a specific cell in another tab. If I change my selection I want the same specific cell to change with my selection from the first tab. I would like to do this without entering the = sign in the second tab everytime I select a new cell from the first. I would like to it automatically populate and change the specific cell from the various specificaly selected cell(s) on the first tab. In other words select a number on the first tab will populat that selection in a specific cell on the second, I can change my selection and it will change the cells value on the second tab. (am I rambling?)
Try using a lookup table. If your not familiar with the formula, find it under the logic category (at least within Excel.)
