Why does my silly cat (age 1 year) like to splash around in the toilet and his water fountain?
He also likes to get into the Christmas tree stand water (but we're about to take it down anyway. Did he learn to play like this from watching our bird take a bath?
Mycat loves water too. He doesn't like getting wet, but he loves splashing about in water. In fact, he likes it so much that we have to leave a tap running in the bath for his to drink from cause he spills his water bowl by splashing it. A bit annoying, but fortunately we live in Scotland, so no shortage of water!
And yes, he does splash about in the toilet, but that's very rare cause we always close the lid (have done since he was a kitten, cause my friend's kitten drowned in the toilet once). He also likes watching us wash up, the fish tank, the washing machine and the toaster!
